After working on and off on this app for what’s got to be at least 5 or 6 months (which is definitely not a long time to work on an app, to tell the truth — a lot of quality apps were made in a lot longer), It looks like Konvention is finally almost ready to roll. Well, “roll” as in roll into the hands of the internet, and hopefully some users on stack overflow/hacker news/reddit that may like it.
Sure, it might be a bit foolish to develop something like this without a single clue if people will enjoy it or not, but I think it’s something that needs to be done. A tool like this doesn’t quite exist yet, and the structuring of the data it’s going to contain isn’t enforced by anyone yet. If it takes off (or if I manually fill it with a ton of stuff), it will be useful, eventually. probably.
A few more tweaks, and a sloppily put together search implementation and I can at least alpha the thing. Can’t wait to get some feedback.
